Aspen, Colorado

Nestled into its high-alpine landscape, this mountain modern residence was born from the client’s vision of old European farm buildings being renovated with found materials from the Aspen site. Four distinct pods capture the feel of a compound. Clad in barn wood with stone bases, the programmatic elements are defined through modern glass connections. Modern interventions are evident on the interior of the of the home, while the exterior seamlessly connects to the outdoors. The design team worked as Project Manager and Owner’s Representative as the clients lived abroad during construction.
